I am a journalist, author and copywriter based in Amersham, Buckinghamshire.

As well as writing for wide range of titles, I am part-time Associate Editor of the Exclusive magazines portfolio – a glossy monthly lifestyle magazine distributed across London, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Surrey. I write about culture, interiors, education, beauty, food, travel and lifestyle. 

I have written for dozens of magazines. After a staff job as Beauty Editor of Woman’s Own, I have freelanced for titles as varied as Marie Claire and Best, Essentials and Boots magazine, Candis and Ideal Home. I have also written lots about parenting for the likes of Smallish and Gurgle. 

I am a bestselling author, writing books for children and parents alike and am published in more than 20 countries.

I have worked on many copywriting projects for companies like Nivea, Persil, BoConcept and Bellway homes.

After studying for a Classics degree at Durham University, I gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism Studies at the prestigious Cardiff University School of Journalism.
